VIP Exclusive: Crypto Finally Cracks the S&P 500 With This Stock
Welcome to Everyday Alpha’s catalyst watch, reserved exclusively for our most active readers. We look at five stocks with the perfect recipe for success and our take on why they’re worth a closer look.

As markets navigate a week of earnings momentum, tech breakthroughs, and key regulatory developments, tomorrow brings fresh opportunities for investors to capitalize on shifting trends.
From AI and manufacturing to crypto rallies and search tech, we’ve spotlighted five compelling stocks poised for potential moves on Friday. Whether you’re trading on momentum, news catalysts, or long-term fundamentals, these are the names worth keeping on your radar as we close in on the weekend.

Honeywell International Inc. | HON
Price: $223.63
Honeywell International is a company with its fingers in a lot of pies. It has a presence in the aerospace, building automation, industrial automation, and energy and sustainability sectors. If you’re of a certain age, you might call it a ‘mover and a shaker.’
Within the last 24 hours, the Charlotte, North Carolina-headquartered firm has announced a $2.4 billion purchase of Johnson Matthey’s catalyst technologies arm. This acquisition will boost the firm’s sustainable fuel capabilities and is a clear sign that it is making moves to grow its clean energy business.

Broadcom Inc. | AVGO
Price: $230.53
A designer, developer, manufacturer, and supplier, Broadcom Inc. specializes in semiconductor chips and infrastructure software. It’s been riding an AI wave for months now thanks to its custom chip business, but we have seen things kick up a gear in the last 72 hours.
On Wednesday, analysts at TD Cowen highlighted its long-term growth potential, giving the stock a 1.1% trading boost. It’s also just been reported (via his 13F filing) that billionaire investor Chase Coleman has been quietly stockpiling AVGO shares.
AVGO is one of the stocks best positioned to capitalize on the AI revolution. It has added 64.88% to its stock value in the last 12 months and now has a market value in excess of $1 trillion.

Alphabet Inc. | GOOG
Price: $171.98
There’s rarely a dull day at Alphabet, Google’s parent company and this week is no different. It’s taking a hard run at improving personalization across its product range, including AI-powered glasses.
Far from jumping on a trend after the wagon has left the station, Google has been an early pioneer of personalization in search. Having stepped up its R&D in the field of Agentic AI, it has charmed Citi analysts. Within the last 24 hours, the bank has reaffirmed its $200 price target and stuck to its ‘Buy’ rating. You have to think that the vote of confidence has its roots in Tuesday’s I/O conference – the firm outlined a series of new product launches that show how it's moving beyond search as we know it.

Coinbase Global, Inc. | COIN
Price: $271.95
The first of two crypto-adjacent stocks to watch in the wake of Bitcoin’s ascent to a new all-time high of $111,886.41, Coinbase is making history this week as the first-ever crypto exchange to join the S&P 500.
Could this be an indicator that President Trump’s campaign vision of making America the ‘crypto capital of the world’ is becoming a reality? Only time will tell. What we do know right now is that COIN stock is up 9.82% this week as we approach a pivotal moment for COIN stock. Hold on to your hat because things are about to get very interesting.

MicroStrategy Inc | MSTR
Price: $399.46
MicroStrategy Inc. is the second of our crypto-adjacent picks. Rated Overweight by Barclays, it has recently emerged that 12 government entities increased their MSTR holdings in Q1. If Bitcoin really does have the bit between its teeth once again, you can expect crypto-related stocks like MSTR to surge.
Earlier this week, Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital assets research at Standard Chartered, described the government holdings as being ‘very promising.’ At the time of writing, Bitcoin futures and options continued to smash records left and right. It’s no coincidence that MSTR has just announced a new stock issuance program valued at $2.1 billion designed to fuel Bitcoin acquisition.

As we head into Friday’s session, these five stocks stand out for their market-moving potential. Whether driven by strategic acquisitions, analyst upgrades, uplisting momentum, or unusual price action, each name offers a distinct narrative worth following. Keep an eye on these developments as they unfold—tomorrow’s winners may very well be among them.

Best Regards,
